Navicare Welcomes a New Care Navigator

Navicare would like to introduce you to their second Mental Health Care Navigator, Keeley Ryan. Keeley has lived in Moranbah since 2016, and considers herself a local. Keeley’s background is in health administration, and she is currently undertaking a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. She has always been passionate about helping people, and her role as a Mental Health Care Navigator will see her supporting people through their mental health journey.

Keeley Ryan, a Moranbah local, joins the Isaac Navicare team.

Keeley also has lived experience of mental health. She understands how difficult it can be to put your hand up and ask for help, which is why she is so excited about her new role. Having experienced the difficulties of finding a mental health service in a rural and remote area firsthand, she is determined to find accessible services tailored to the specific needs of each client, which are available promptly and without having to travel hundreds of kilometers to access.

Keeley is based at the Navicare hub located at the Moranbah Youth & Community Centre. Please join us in welcoming her to the team!
