In the Dark Fundraiser

Katie Hobbs, a local Clermont resident, is running a mental health/suicide prevention event in Clermont at Hoods Lagoon in September!

Too many lives have been lost in the Clermont community, and beyond, which is why on 28th to 29th of September passionate members of our community will be walking laps around Hoods Lagoon from 6pm to 6am to raise awareness for mental health and prevent further suicides. Please show your support by participating in the event, coming down to the Lagoon to cheer Katie and community members on or by donating to her fundraising page. The funds raised will go directly to the Wesley Research Institute to help continue the vital work of our team at Isaac Navicare, a free service that connects people with mental health support across the Isaac region.

Katie is passionate about advocating for mental health awareness, and by holding this fundraiser she can directly support a local mental health provider, with her much-loved community benefitting directly from any donations.

Navicare Care Navigator, Keeley Ryan will be attending the event in support of Katie, and will be there to provide information about mental health and will be available to discuss mental health support options.

Let’s help Katie reach her fundraising goal of $3000. Please support Katie further by donating to Running for a cause | In the Dark (gofundraise.com.au)
